It all started with trolleys. But that was just the beginning. Once the two brothers Georg and Wilhelm Schaeffler had founded their own company in 1946, they started amongst other to develop needle bearings. With the invention of the needle cage the needle bearing was in a position to make a breakthrough at industry level. Since 70 years INA as a brand name of the Schaeffler group stands for innovation and progress. INA produces on a global basis in over 35 different plants a variety of bearings, bushings and linear guides.
